LemonCo Catering is a luxury, full-service catering company based in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. But way before that, our name came from the streets of Atlantic City, NJ.

A neighborhood kid told our founder that his stomach was so big it resembled a lemon. From that point on, the name stuck and Lemon eventually became passionate about the food and beverage industry. Lemon has gained over 15 years of experience in the culinary field and has funneled that knowledge into a luxury catering service that specializes in creating unforgettable experiences.

Carlos "Lemon" Selva

Founder, Head Chef

Lemon's life has always been surrounded by genuine, unconditional love. His household was far from perfect, but they worked with the limited resources they had. Growing up watching Guy’s Big Bite or Everyday Italian with Chef Giada De Laurentiis made him realize that the common denominator between the shows and his home was the love put into each meal.

His culinary journey started at a small Jewish bistro working his way up from dish washer to learning about Matzah Ball Soup and the importance of Jewish culture. Onward, he was given a chance to grow at a small, high-end Californian restaurant working on cold appetizers. Head Chef Javier Perez saw his ambition and placed Carlos along his side.

Most recently, Carlos was given ownership over executing and plating the majority of the dishes that came out of the kitchen at Nobu Global (Atlantic City) - a world-renowned Japanese restaurant.

With 13+ years of experience, he is well equipped to make your event a success.

Dan Ramirez Jr.

Director of Events

Dan brings over 10+ years in the Food & Beverage industry and 5+ years in the Event Planning space.

He has always been someone to bring people together to create awesome memories and value to the community.

As the Director of Events at LemonCo, he is responsible for the execution of each LemonCo Event Experience . Dan ensures each LemonCo Client has a seamless experience from the first point of contact all the way to the final walk through with the venue manager at the end of the event.
